Boksamtal: Molly Crabapple

Molly Crabapple is an artist, author, journalist and illustrator. A former burlesque dancer and model.

She has recently written “Here Where We Live Is Our Country: The Story Of The Jewish Bund” about the Jewish labour movement to which her great-grandfather belonged.

The book was written in a library in New York while demonstrators marching in solidarity with Gaza chanted outside.

– I will probably never recover from the pain of writing about the genocide of Europe’s Jews while the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza is ongoing, often using the same methods.
