Sekelskiftesafton med Katarina Wennstam
Join us for an evening with Katarina Wennstam! On 29 September, the doors of the historic Vasateatern in Stockholm will open for an exclusive pre-release launch and an author talk evoking the turn of the 20th century.
The evening will centre on the new book Moder blod, the fourth instalment in the popular Sekelskiftesmorden series. Hear Katarina Wennstam discuss her research into the period around the turn of the 20th century, women's circumstances and everyday lives, and issues of class. The conversation will delve into everything from poverty and difficult working conditions to pregnancy, childbirth and the fashions of the time.
The conversation will be hosted by Josefine Sundström.
The ticket price of 280 kr includes a signed copy of Moder blod, the fourth instalment in Sekelskiftesmorden. Those who would like a personal dedication in their copy will have the opportunity to have it signed after the talk.
