Arvfurstens Palats
An important listed building from the 18th century.
Arvfurstens Palats is situated on Gustaf Adolfs Torg and consists of an older and a newer section. A palace was built on the site as early as the mid-17th century, commissioned by military commander Lennart Torstensson. Nearly a century later, the property was purchased by Princess Sofia Albertina, who had a palace built next door and connected the two.
Today, the palace is a state-listed historic building and an important monument from the reign of Gustav III. The building houses the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
