Viking – A Live Action Musical

AN INTENSE AND IMMERSIVE MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

BRINGING THE AUDIENCE CLOSE TO BOTH THE STORY AND THE MUSIC

Dröse & Norberg presents the spectacular VIKING – A Live Action Musical - Haralds Blodshämnd for adult audiences – in an arena tent. The musical is an intense and visually powerful production that takes the audience straight into the brutal and passionate world of the Viking Age. The 25-strong cast features HÅKAN HEMLIN FROM NORDMAN, making his musical theatre debut, alongside ANNA NORBERG & JOAKIM NÄTTERQVIST.

Set in the late 10th century, the story follows Harald av Holmgård and the shield-maiden Ingrid Björndotter in a tale of love, power, betrayal and blood vengeance. Epic battles combine with powerful emotions in a production where the audience sits close to the drama.

The new production is written and directed by Robert Dröse. The newly composed music is by Theo Dröse, Gustav Parling and Robert Dröse. The production is staged in a specially fitted-out arena tent, creating an immersive experience where music, drama and physical stage design come together at close quarters with the audience.
