Come along to Katthult, where Astrid Lindgren’s beloved stories come to life on stage at Intiman. You’ll meet Emil, Ida, Alfred, Lina and the others in Katthult – and, of course, Lukas the horse, Emil’s faithful friend.

Emil is kind-hearted but always getting up to mischief!

We follow some of his best-loved escapades: when the soup bowl gets stuck on his head, Ida is hoisted up the flagpole and he tries to help Lina pull out her aching tooth.

One madcap adventure follows another, and each time it ends as it always does, with a furious father and a trip to the woodshed… where yet another little wooden figure is carved.
