Emmi Christensson & Rickard Söderberg Fridfull Jul
Two of Sweden’s most beautiful voices come together once again in a new Christmas concert filled with warmth, intimacy and music that moves you!
Following last year’s success with a series of sold-out performances, acclaimed musical theatre star Emmi Christensson and the much-loved, charismatic tenor Rickard Söderberg are heading out on the road again this winter.
The programme will feature favourites from last year, as well as plenty of new material.
As before, they will be joined by pianist Johan Reis, and this year the ensemble is also strengthened by cellist Anna Wallgren.
This atmospheric concert gives the most beautiful Christmas music centre stage.
Bring someone you care about and experience the magic of Christmas together!
We both love Christmas and its music, and can’t wait to take ”En fridfull jul” on the road again this winter.
We’ll sing our hearts out!
Emmi Christensson has captivated audiences in musicals such as The Sound of Music, West Side Story and Les Misérables.
Emmi’s international breakthrough came when she enjoyed success in the West End as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London.
Her portrayal of Christine brought her back to the role in the Swedish production at Cirkus in Stockholm, with Peter Jöback as the Phantom.
Emmi has also appeared in Melodifestivalen, major television productions and concerts, moving seamlessly between musical theatre, her own music and large-scale stage productions.
Operatic tenor Rickard Söderberg trained at Det Kongelige Teater in Copenhagen and, since graduating, has established himself as one of Sweden’s best-loved opera singers.
He has mainly sung roles in Baroque and Mozart operas, but also in modern opera, oratorios and concerts.
With tireless dedication, Rickard Söderberg has shared his love of theatrical expression and the power of music with Swedish audiences, who see him not only as a deeply expressive interpreter and a singer with a beautiful voice, but also as a style icon and a role model for humanist values.
