Marstein

Marstein is one of Norway’s biggest artists and a leading voice in the new generation of Nordic hip-hop. Following his breakthrough with the rap group UNDERGRUNN, he launched his solo career in 2022 and has since established himself as an influential artist and live act.

In recent years, he has played at several of Norway’s biggest festivals. In 2024, he played his first major solo concert at Sentrum Scene in Oslo, and his live career has continued to grow ever since.

When Marstein released his second album FRIHET I LENKER in 2024, a whole new world opened up. The album went straight to number one in Norway and reached number nine on Spotify’s album chart in Denmark. One of the album’s tracks, “SAMMEN” featuring Annika, also made history as the first Norwegian-language song to reach number one in both Norway and Denmark.

In autumn 2026, Marstein will release his third solo album YAP. It will be his most ambitious project to date. The first single from the album was “RØDT HVITT BLÅTT” featuring Girl in red, which went straight to the top of Norway’s Top 50. In September, he followed it up with the album’s second single, “SAVNER ET MENNESKE”, alongside one of Denmark’s biggest stars, Tobias Rahim.

The album YAP. builds on Marstein’s ambition to create music that moves naturally across Nordic borders without having to compromise his own language or identity.

In November, Marstein will play his biggest headline concert ever at Oslo Spektrum. After that, Stockholm and Debaser Nova await. Don’t miss it!
