VINGELRUNDAN IN STOCKHOLM – 18 SEPTEMBER 2027! Seriously, Stockholm. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?

We’re still blown away by this year’s debut. You ran, walked, staggered, raised your glasses, sweated and partied your way through Stockholm in a way that left us moved, impressed and a little hungover. The first Vingelrundan in the capital was exactly the success we’d hoped for – and then some.

So there’s only one sensible thing to do.

WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN.

Ebba Grön, Robyn and David Ritchard. You say you’re going for a glass at Café Nizza and wake up with a receipt from Riche. You swim in brackish water, willingly queue for bakeries and pay 78 kronor for a cardamom bun without blinking. We like you.

On 18 September 2027, Wine Mechanics’ wine run VINGELRUNDAN returns to Stockholm.

Clear everything else from your diary.

Starting on Långholmen, we’ll make our way through Södermalm via eight wine stations. At each stop, we’ll try a new wine (5 cl), chat some nonsense and gather our strength for the next leg. The route is around 10 km and each starting group has a team of ambassadors to lead the way and cheer you on.

You can go at your own pace, but bear in mind that there’s a cut-off time. Run. Jog. Walk. Stagger. If you want to cheat and take the metro, get a piggyback from a friend, hitch a lift with a foodora cyclist or ride an e-scooter for part of the way, we won’t call the police.

At the finish, another extraordinary sweat-fest awaits, with brilliant prizes, fantastic food from our local restaurant friends and wine taps flowing freely. Friends, enemies, family and other thirsty Stockholmers are welcome to join the party.

You must be at least 18 to run/walk/wine-walk the route. Your entry fee includes eight wine samples, a few snacks along the way and one hell of a party afterwards.

This year, we didn’t really know what would happen.

Now we do.
