King Buffalo

The New York trio King Buffalo release their seventh album and return to Debaser after selling out Bar Brooklyn in 2023.

King Buffalo are the power trio from Rochester, New York, who have made psychedelic heaviness and hypnotic grooves their trademark. Since they started out, Sean Roa, Dan Reynolds and Scott Donaldson have built their own universe of progressive, heavy psychedelic rock, while earning a reputation as an equally formidable live band.

In November, they release their seventh album, Doomsayer, the first since 2022’s Regenerator. The album took shape during long jam sessions in the band’s self-built studio and presents King Buffalo in a more direct, riff-driven mode. Roa’s expansive guitars, Reynolds’ warm bass groove and Donaldson’s heavy drums come together in a sound that both stretches out and hits with full force.

After four years of intensive touring around the world, King Buffalo are now taking Doomsayer on the road. On 22 March, the European tour reaches Stockholm and Debaser Nova.
