Teater Tre, Stockholm
Non ci resta che piangere
What would you do if you were suddenly catapulted 500 years back into world history? That is what happened to Mario and Saverio, who one day find themselves in the period between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Knowing how things will turn out in the 2000s, they try to change history.
TeaterPi’s new production is loosely based on the film of the same name, “Non ci resta che piangere” (1984), by and starring Massimo Troisi and Roberto Benigni. The languages of theatre, film and music intertwine to immerse the audience completely in the absurdity of time and the magic of a satire that is both light-hearted and powerful.
Duration: 2.5 hours + interval
Performed in Italian. Swedish and English subtitles are available directly on your phone! Scan the QR code at the theatre and follow the subtitles on your smartphone. Remember to arrive with your phone fully charged.
