Canasta med Hin Håle 1 1/2

The dilapidated old house that was once Hotell Lymfnoden has been seized by the Swedish Enforcement Authority, which has failed to sell it. It is now inhabited by Einar, who is objectum-sexual and was once a guest at the hotel, and his girlfriend, the water tank Monika.

Leif, the enforcement inspector, who has a dark past and a keen interest in racket sports, also finds it hard to tear himself away from the house. Truth be told, he lives there most of the time.

The council has hired the psychiatrist Rainer and peer supporter Bubba to try to bring some order to the psychosocial environment. In the midst of it all, Geggy crawls about, some kind of cross between a woman and a swamp creature, disturbing the peace of mind of everyone who meets her. Is she a mirage? And who are the Siamese quintuplets who break into the story from time to time?

Canasta med Hin Håle 1 1/2 is the standalone continuation of part 1, which was a huge success with us in 2023. The Canasta med Hin Håle project is about pushing the boundaries of theatre, acting and existence itself. It is grotesque, funny and horrifying, as if Lustiga Huset were haunted by demons.
