Canasta med Hin Håle 1 1/2

The ramshackle old house that was once Hotell Lymfnoden has been seized by the Enforcement Authority, which has failed to sell it. It is now inhabited by Einar, who is objectum-sexual and was previously a guest at the hotel, and his girlfriend, the water tank Monika.

Leif, the enforcement officer, who has a dark past and a keen interest in racket sports, also finds it hard to tear himself away from the house. The truth is, he lives there most of the time.

The local council has hired the psychiatrist Rainer and the peer-support worker Bubba to try to bring order to the psychosocial environment. In the midst of it all, Geggy crawls about, some kind of cross between a woman and a swamp creature, disturbing the peace of mind of everyone she meets. Is she a mirage? And who are the Siamese quintuplets who occasionally break into the story?

Canasta med Hin Håle 1 1/2 is the standalone continuation of part 1, which was a great success with us in 2023. The Canasta med Hin Håle project is about pushing the boundaries of theatre, acting and existence itself. It is grotesque, funny and horrifying, as if the Hall of Mirrors were haunted by demons.
