Duo Jatekok

On 7 April 2027, the piano duo Duo Jatekok comes to Debaser in Stockholm with “Rammstein on the Beach”, a concert where Rammstein’s music meets the rhythms and repetitive patterns of minimalism.

The performance is part of a tour covering 22 cities in Europe and the United Kingdom. After touring the world with Rammstein, pianists Adélaïde Panaget and Naïri Badal are taking their musical experience further in a new concert format. In “Rammstein on the Beach”, the power and intensity of rock meet the finely nuanced, hypnotic expression of minimalist music, inspired by Monk, Adams and Glass.

The title alludes to Philip Glass’s opera “Einstein on the Beach”. Together with director David Gauchard, lighting designer Antoine Travert and sound designer Clément Mirguet, Duo Jatekok creates a performance in which music, light and stage expression form a coherent whole. Rhythm and repetition run as a common thread throughout the concert.

The transitions between Rammstein’s music and the minimalist works are seamless, allowing two distinct musical worlds to meet. The result is a concert that moves between powerful energy and subtle nuances, taking the audience along on an uninterrupted musical journey.
