Björnkrönikan

Welcome to a musical evening in the spirit of medieval history! Björnkrönikan is a rhyming work set to music that takes you through the entire Middle Ages of Western Europe, with a particular focus on the Nordic countries and what later became Sweden.

The name Björnkrönikan alludes to the medieval work Erikskrönikan, which tells the story of Sweden’s early Middle Ages.

The performance combines musical virtuosity with masterful storytelling. Joining Björn Ende – musician and lyricist – on stage is a string of accomplished musicians, including Kristin Fornfela Svensson, whose strong personality and dazzling musicianship have made her an integral part of Björnkrönikan. Johan Ludvig Rask is on drums, and Andreas Grönberg on bass.
