Velveteen Queen

Swedish rock band Velveteen Queen have quickly made their mark on the music scene. On 18 September, they take to the stage at Debaser Nova!

Drawing on influences from Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses and The Black Crowes, Velveteen Queen combine classic rock with a modern energy. Since their debut in 2022, they have established themselves as one of the genre’s most exciting acts, known for their intense live performances. Their debut album Consequence of the City (2024) was acclaimed by critics and followed by a European tour and international releases in Asia.

In 2025, the band signed with Warner Music and are now taking the next step with the album The Greater Good, released on 18 September 2026. Three singles will be released ahead of the album, the first on 26 May 2026.

Despite their young age, the band have already played at major festivals such as Sweden Rock Festival and Malmö Festival, and shared the stage with Judas Priest, Alice Cooper and Megadeth.
