The Amity Affliction

The concert is organised by FKP Scorpio The Amity Affliction are one of Australia’s most influential metalcore bands, known for their raw creative power, where heaviness meets melody and dark lyrics about struggle, loss and survival.

Since forming in Queensland in 2003, they have refined their sound, combining aggressive riffs, epic choruses and an emotional duality – a recurring theme throughout their catalogue, which includes highlights such as “Let the Ocean Take Me”, “This Could Be Heartbreak”, “Misery” and 2023’s “Not Without My Ghosts”.

The new album “House of Cards” is expected to be released in 2026 – in other words, this is a gig where we can look forward to not only familiar bangers but new ones too!

Joining them on stage are three impressive support acts: Silent Planet, whose technical and introspective songs focus on mental health and existential questions; Varials, an American favourite delivering brutal heaviness and aggressive precision; and Orthodox, who offer a mix of melodic intensity and a hard edge.

Is this the heaviest line-up of the autumn? Quite possibly!
