Wicker

Oscar-winning Olivia Colman plays a fisherwoman who lives in a seaside village. One day, she tires of life as a fish-smelling single woman, constantly bored by her petty neighbours. She decides to simply order a wicker man (Alexander Skarsgård) from a basket maker.

Her unusual romance with the handsome creation sparks outrage, jealousy and chaos in the conservative village. The film premiered to acclaim at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
