Henry VIII på Kafé & Afternoon Tea

A traditional café with the vocal ensemble Vox Ancorae, performing masses, madrigals, motets and medieval mysticism in delightful combination with Afternoon Tea for those who wish. The café is open 13.00–16.00, and the concert programme starts at 14.00 and lasts about 50 minutes.

Come and listen to songs about angry old ladies hitting people with walking sticks in the town square, courtly love where pining is the whole point, a whole lot of Hallelujahs one after another, dancing around the maypole, the fifteenth-century answer to Bara bada bastu, and a composition by Henry VIII himself!
