Samling vid Stortorgsbrunnen, Stockholm
True crime Stormaktstiden
Let us travel back to Stockholm’s town hall in the 17th century. The court records tell us what really happened in the streets and alleyways of Stockholm during the Age of Greatness.
People in Stockholm in those days were often in court. Here we meet, among others, the maid Brita, the household servant Jöns, the boy, the murderess and a combative shoemaker. These relatively little-known lives give us a kind of direct connection and a vivid picture of the city as it was in this tumultuous period. So join us for a walking tour of the Old Town and get ready for a little 17th-century “true crime”.
Åsa Ohlén-Olsson leads a 1-hour-45-minute walk that starts at Stortorget and ends at Riddarholmen.
