Kägelbanan Södra Teatern, Stockholm
The Proclaimers
Folk-pop with a clenched fist After extensive world tours and performances in front of hundreds of thousands of people, the live show is tightly honed and razor-sharp.
These concerts feel inclusive and explosive at the same time, with each evening becoming a shared moment rather than a stage spectacle.
When The Proclaimers come to Sweden in 2026, it is a unique chance to experience a band at the height of its creative powers. New songs, much-loved favourites and an audience drawn in from the front row to the back. This is music that still means something – and means even more live.
This is when it really happens; The Proclaimers are recording a new album in the spring, and from early summer they will be playing concerts that set the tone for a tour that is anything but retrospective. This is a band still writing songs for the present day and taking to the stage with the same intensity, anger and warmth as ever.
You are met with uncompromising honesty, melodies that stick immediately and lyrics that genuinely say something. The political, the personal and the everyday sit side by side, delivered with an assurance that has the audience both singing along and listening closely.
It is folk, pop, punk and humanism in symbiosis.
