Blanco White

Once you have entered Blanco White’s enchanted world, it is hard to leave. His dreamlike folk music brings to life the places in Spain and South America that White once made pilgrimages to in order to study their music and culture.

Flamenco, cueca and the charango – when the traces of his musical pilgrimage are woven together with the British singer-songwriter’s beating pop heart, time seems to stand still. Behind the stage name is Josh Edwards, whose career has gone from strength to strength since his debut EP, ‘The Wind Rose EP’ (2016). Despite the music’s strong artistic integrity and relatively understated nature, White’s audience has grown exponentially. Just take the wonderful ‘Olalla’ from his debut album ‘On the Other Side’ (2020), which now has over 100 million streams on Spotify alone.

We can now announce that Blanco White is returning to Sweden for a concert at Göta Lejon in Stockholm on 2 March 2027.
