Färgens poesi – Göteborgskoloristerna

Museum director Karin Sidén gives an introductory talk on the exhibition Den underbara färgen – Göteborgskolorismen i nytt ljus.

Drawing on works by Ivan Ivarson, Ragnar Sandberg, Inge Schiöler, Karin Parrow and Åke Göransson, among others, she discusses the central importance of colour in their works, the artists’ west coast surroundings and the artistic movement that went on to leave a lasting mark on Swedish art.
