Vem var min pappa?
Mustafa Zatara was just six years old when his dad became Lasermannen’s eleventh and final victim. See his moving story Vem var min pappa?. About understanding your roots – and yourself.
Mustafa Zatara was just six years old when his dad was shot in the head and miraculously survived, but lost his mobility and his ability to speak. It was 1992, and Mustafa’s dad became Lasermannen’s eleventh and final victim. Although Mustafa did not know it at the time, that event marked the beginning of something crucial for him. A desire to try to understand why something so terrible had happened to him and his family. Out of grief and anger comes a curiosity and a longing to understand who his dad actually was before that terrible event. For how well do we really know our parents before they become our parents? And how much do we need to understand what our parents have been through to truly understand ourselves?
The performance is for ages 15 and over.
