Bagarmossens Folkets Hus, Bagarmossen
Quinnorna
They transformed women’s prospects for the future and laid the foundations for a society based on gender equality. Through their struggle, they created space for women to vote, exert influence and take part in public debate.
For some, their ideas first took shape in writing; for others, in speeches and lectures. They appear in one another’s books, meet through their political commitments and keep the conversation alive through letters and meetings.
A performance that tells the story of four of Sweden’s most interesting and influential women – Selma Lagerlöf, Elin Wägner, Victoria Benedictsson and Ellen Key – with warmth, humour and direct audience address.
