Passione - Italienska sånger with Trio Nero, Synne Vinje and Johan Ullén. AROUND THE turn of the last century, the popular Italian song repertoire spread across the world, not least thanks to the rise of the gramophone.

The tenor Enrico Caruso became the first artist to sell millions of records, and alongside his operatic arias, his recordings made these songs internationally loved. The combination of opera’s emotional intensity and popular song’s immediate accessibility makes this repertoire hard to resist. 8 Although O Sole Mio is familiar to many, much of this treasure trove of songs has been forgotten outside Italy. Trio Nero wants to change that. The trio was formed in 2022 and has since given several acclaimed performances. They now join us together with soprano Synne Vinje and pianist Johan Ullén for an afternoon of passion, beautiful singing and love.
