Kris, kaos & katastrof

Monday morning in a classroom somewhere. Five pupils and a teacher gather for a resit in Swedish. Their task is to answer the question “what will your life look like in 20 years?”. But how do you answer when you don’t even know what next week will look like?

Or when you have to deal with gang-involved brothers and overprotective mums? Will fuckboys keep ghosting us for all eternity? What if a light appears and Jesus returns? Or the world suddenly goes up in flames? Soon the pupils are so entangled in each other’s lives that they barely hear the alarm blaring outside the classroom door…

Kris, kaos & katastrof is a newly written sci-fi comedy for anyone who feels the world is about to explode. Written by rising-star playwright Amar Jašarević and directed by the acclaimed Farnaz Arbabi. World premiere on 16 October 2026.
