Diktatorn
Who should be afraid of the dictator? Everyone. Who should comfort the dictator? Everyone. Who should praise the dictator? Everyone.
The dictator has other people do most things for him: he is fed, his teeth are brushed and stories are read to him – but he only wants to hear the one about himself and how wonderful he is. He has a private chauffeur who drives him to MINIsteriet (in a little tank), where the staff take care of his outdoor clothes and he practises writing his name, because dictators need to know how to do that. When he orders himself to sleep, he must obey, but things go less well when he tries to order a girl called Sirkka to be his friend. So if you are a very small dictator, things can get lonely in the end.
Diktatorn is a wonderful, humorous portrayal of a little tyrant, or in other words – a child. Based on a book by Ulf Stark and Linda Bondestam.
