Henrik Hjelt – ÄNTLIGEN! 30 years on stage. 0 lectures. 100% stand-up. It began in 1996 on a small stage in a market hall in Uppsala. The payment was food, but Henrik Hjelt found something far more valuable: a buzz he has never wanted to let go of.

Since then, he has become a familiar face in Swedish comedy – as the quick-witted panellist on Parlamentet, in acclaimed TV series and major musical productions. But most of the time, he has been part of an ensemble or tied to a fixed format.

Now he is stripping it all away.

On his first major solo tour, Henrik returns to the essentials. He swaps costumes and scripted characters for honesty and the distinctive timing that has made him an audience favourite across the country. This is Henrik Hjelt at his most stripped-back – a personal stress test in which the material takes shape in the room, together with you in the audience.

– Stand-up is the ultimate test of yourself under pressure. It is an art form that is simple in structure but extremely difficult to perform. I want to tap into that buzz I have felt so many times, in Uppsala 30 years ago and now, says Henrik Hjelt.
