Bernth

The concert is organised by FKP Scorpio. It’s time to escape the Internet – again. Bernth is coming to Sweden with Escape The Internet Tour II.

And he will be joined by three musicians who have each pushed the boundaries of their instruments in different ways: bass virtuoso Charles Berthoud, fingerstyle guitarist Mike Dawes and Swedish metal guitarist Ola Englund.

Austrian guitarist, composer and creator Bernth has moved between extreme metal, soundtrack work, session work and virtuosic instrumental music. He has toured with Belphegor, recorded guitars for Seiler und Speer, contributed solos to platinum-certified albums and composed music that has gone gold. But for many, Bernth is above all one of the clearest modern links between the guitar world’s technical tradition and a new digital musicianship culture.

Since launching his YouTube channel in 2018, he has built a global audience around a style that gives equal weight to precision, melody and extreme technique. His courses have been studied by over 50,000 guitarists worldwide, and his previous Escape The Internet tours have brought together some of the most prominent names on the modern instrumental music scene on stages across Europe, the USA, Asia and Australia.
