Guldgruvan is the small stand-up club with the best comedians, who really deliver when it comes to classic, honest stand-up comedy.

The cosy room has often been compared to Comedy Cellar in New York and is perfectly suited to stand-up comedy shows.

The club was founded by Simon Gärdenfors and Johannes Brenning and is now run by Johannes and Leon Jämtin.

Here you can experience humour in its most authentic form – no filters, just sharp jokes and raw laughter.

The shows take place in the basement of the local bar and restaurant Sofia Common, which holds around 70 people.

It’s an intimate, up-close experience, with comedians and audience on the same level.

It’s a place where you can really feel part of the show if you want to.

The humour here is often direct, a little outside the box and sometimes close to the bone – but always genuine.

Guldgruvan has become known for giving alternative and unconventional voices in stand-up a platform, with new, experimental jokes often finding their way onto the stage.
