What began as a sauna-scented, tongue-in-cheek tribute to Nordic culture exploded into a full-blown pop phenomenon. "Bara Bada Bastu" shot straight to #1 on Spotify in both Sweden and Finland and topped charts across the Nordic and Baltic countries — before bursting onto the world stage with a flying start on Spotify Global and #1 on Viral 50 Global.

And like an extra log on the fire in an already steaming-hot sauna, the song was nominated for a Grammis.

Behind the success of KAJ are the trio Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgård — who grew up in Vörå, Finland, where it all began back in 2009.

With witty lyrics, nostalgic nods and a warm love for Finland-Swedish culture, they soon built a musical world of their own, drawing equally on Nordic folk melodies, modern pop and stage humour.

What was local soon became national.

And then international.

Their journey has included sold-out tours, albums and a historic victory at Melodifestivalen 2025, where KAJ became the first Finland-Swedish act to represent Sweden at Eurovision.

Now a new Swedish tour awaits.

And KAJ have no intention of doing things by halves.
