RITSCH RATSCH på Vasan

Welcome to RITSCH RATSCH på Vasan, a Christmas show that turns every Christmas show you have ever seen on its head!

Helen Sjöholm, Jacke Sjödin, Sussie Eriksson, Andreas Nilsson and Mikael Skoglund’s five-piece band present a Christmas show unlike anything seen before.

Expect Christmas with all the extras and an affectionate musical extravaganza celebrating Sweden’s treasure trove of Christmas songs!

There will be Christmas songs dissected and analysed.

Christmas lyrics set to entirely different tunes.

Christmas songs where we find out what happened after the original lyrics ended.

A reckoning with the unstable confectioner.

Christmas plays.

St Lucia processions.

Stories about how "Uppå källarbacken" came into being.

Bjällerklang from every dark corner of the globe. 36 classic Christmas songs in three minutes.

Rudolf med röda mulen as a newly written, grandiose musical.

And much, much, much more.

In short, a glorious mix of singing, music, dancing, silliness and seriousness.

Rather like a Christmas buffet with everything from malt bread to marzipan pigs.

Performed at Vasateatern in Stockholm, 4–20 December 2026.

Ages 13 and over.
