An Evening with Nicko McBrain

After more than four decades behind the drums and a career that has made him one of heavy metal’s most influential musicians, Nicko McBrain is coming to Sweden with An Evening With Nicko McBrain.

On 11 November 2026, he takes to the stage at Göta Lejon in Stockholm for a unique evening of stories, audience questions and memories from a life at the very top of hard rock.

The tour follows the publication of Nicko McBrain’s forthcoming autobiography Hello Boys and Girls!, due out on 22 October 2026. During the evening, McBrain takes the audience on a journey through his upbringing in East London, his path to Iron Maiden and life as one of heavy metal’s most influential drummers.

Nicko McBrain joined Iron Maiden in 1982 and quickly became an important part of the band’s classic line-up. During his 42 years in the band, he played on 14 studio albums and countless world tours, helping to shape the sound of one of the most successful hard rock bands of all time.

But An Evening With Nicko McBrain is about more than just Iron Maiden. With his characteristic humour and love of storytelling, he shares stories from a life filled with music, friendship, setbacks and successes. From his early years on London’s music scene to world tours, life behind the scenes in one of the world’s biggest hard rock bands and the experiences that have shaped him both as a musician and as a person.
