Välkommen till Uppsala domkyrka - En central plats i Sveriges historia.
I hjärtat av Uppsala, tillika huvudstad för Svenska Kyrkan, ligger Uppsala Domkyrka belägen. Bygget av kyrkan inleddes under slutet av 1200-talet, men invigdes inte förrän 1435.
Varje år besöks domkyrkan av en halv miljon människor. Besökare kan här låta sig hänföras av slående arkitektur och interiör, uppleva ett stycke historia och beskåda sällsynta föremål.
Uppsala Domkyrka, som är Nordens största, har genom århundraden agerat begravningskyrka för kungligheter, stormän och vetenskapsmän. Här vilar bland annat Gustav Vasa och hans drottningar samt botanikern Carl von Linné. Kyrkan inhyser i sitt norra torn museet Skattkammaren, med för världen unika skatter från Medeltiden.
