HAMN – Slagfältsmuseum

The museum that tells history where it happened.

HAMN, which opened in the summer of 2014, is Sweden’s first battlefield museum. The museum tells the story of the historical events at Baggensstäket in Fisksätra, on the very site where they took place hundreds of years ago. Travel back to 1719, when Swedish and Russian troops fought at the strait, discover the vital waterway between Stockholm and the Baltic Sea, and view archaeological objects from the 4th century as well as from the great battle.
