Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde is said to be the country’s most beautiful art museum. The enchanting 20th-century palace was once home to Prince Eugen, who was considered one of Sweden’s greatest landscape painters of his time. The prince was also a notable collector of contemporary Swedish art. Today, both Eugen’s own works and his extensive collection can be seen at the museum. You can also visit the palace’s reception rooms, which have been preserved in their original condition, and stroll around the garden with its sculptures and historic buildings.
