Olle Olsson Hagalund-museet

Olle Olsson became one of Sweden’s best-loved artists. Throughout his life, he lived in Hagalund in Solna, which he often depicted in his work. When Hagalund was due to be demolished in the 1960s, Olsson did everything in his power to ensure that at least parts of the neighbourhood would be preserved. The artist managed to save four houses, one of which was his childhood home. Today, the house is a museum telling the story of the well-known artist’s life. On display are Olsson’s own works as well as photographs of Hagalund in days gone by.
