Artist: PRIMITIVE RING Date: 4 February 2027 Venue: Hus 7 Doors: 19.00 Live music from approx. 20.00 Age restriction: 18+ / 13+ when accompanied by a parent or guardian

Primitive Ring consists of Bert Hoover (bass/vocals), Charles Moothart (guitar/vocals) and Jon Modaff (drums). The Los Angeles power trio formed in September 2024 when Hoover and Moothart joined forces in search of a new creative outlet. During 2025, the band released four 7-inch singles on four different record labels (Greenway, In the Red, Reverberation Appreciation Society and Fuzz Club UK). They hauled amplifiers and drums into bars to hone the sound of the newfound brotherhood that is Primitive Ring.

Rock’n’roll is, at its core, a primitive experience, and the name reflects just that. Three individuals collide, egos shake one another up, layers are peeled away and new limbs emerge. Archetypes flash into view to the rhythm of a freight train, and the crown passes from hand to hand like a lucky talisman – symbolic and shared. Rock’n’roll is for the people, and Primitive Ring is there to be claimed. At least that will be the case when the band’s debut LP is hurled into the future via In the Red Recordings on 15 May 2026.
