The Velveteers bring a physical and intense energy to their explosive second album, A Million Knives, packed with blistering rock anthems infused with melodic indie songwriting. With GRAMMY®-winning producer Dan Auerbach at the helm, the trio from Boulder, Colorado, capture the raw, powerful and profoundly heavy energy that defines their live performances, while putting carefully crafted songs in the spotlight as they carve out their own distinctive niche.

The Velveteers are driven by the commanding presence of frontwoman Demi Demitro – an uncompromising powerhouse standing just over 150 centimetres tall, with thunderous guitar riffs and soaring vocals, backed by her explosive drumming duo. The band's signature two-drummer line-up creates a thunderous foundation that drives their raw and dynamic garage rock sound. On A Million Knives, this line-up blends seamlessly with a more contemporary indie rock influence – the attitude of Wolf Alice, the colossal sound of Queens of the Stone Age and the unique lyrical voice of Hole.

The Velveteers have built a devoted following through relentless touring and electrifying performances, sharing the stage with well-known acts such as Smashing Pumpkins, The Black Keys, Greta Van Fleet, Guns n Roses and Des Rocs. With A Million Knives, The Velveteers offer compelling proof of their growing star status – a rock’n’roll album that is as beautiful as it is electrifying.
