Girl Group

Girl Group is an Oslo-influenced collective based in Liverpool, where house parties, friendship and feminist creative energy have laid the foundations for the band's unique style.

In a music industry where power, technology and creative space have often belonged to men, Girl Group refused to remain guests. Feeling like outsiders in rooms where they were expected to create magic wasn't working, so the girls began holding their own sessions instead – developing their production skills and experimenting together. Celebrating femininity and putting pleasure first is the starting point for Girl Group's movement, shaping every little part of the band's creative process.

Girl Group's influences range from the lyrical sharpness of Lily Allen and Wet Leg to the sonic experimentation of Charli XCX and Pink Pantheress. With joy, vulnerability and raw, unfiltered girliness as their guiding principles, Girl Group began playing at house parties in Liverpool – an approach to performing that has also shaped their subsequent live shows.

With their debut EP "Think They’re Looking, Let’s Perform” and latest EP ”Little Sticky Pictues”, Girl Group have delivered two ambitious releases that have made a major impact internationally. Don't miss these stars in Sweden this autumn!
