Tennessee-born Josiah Leming has built his career from the ground up – from living in a car and playing for anyone who would listen, to sold-out tours and a devoted fanbase he himself has named Bonnevilles.

With his powerful storytelling, he has grown into one of the modern Americana scene’s most authentic voices since releasing his first demos in 2007.

Josiah and the Bonnevilles is currently promoting his tenth studio album, As Is, which marks a clear step towards a bigger, more electronic sound. The album centres on joy, grief and working-class life in the USA – themes that feel “particularly relevant at a time when so many Americans are struggling to make ends meet”, says Josiah. On the first single, Hell Without the Flames, he reveals what may be his darkest and most uncompromising side yet.
