Anders Ekborg – En Stilla Jul

The Christmas tradition continues – Anders Ekborg tours Sweden with "En Stilla Jul". Since 2009, Anders Ekborg has touched hundreds of thousands of people across the country with one of Sweden’s most cherished Christmas traditions, "En Stilla Jul".

With his charisma, commanding stage presence and a voice audiences have loved since his breakthrough as Karl Oskar, Anders Ekborg continues to create magic on Swedish stages. Over the years, he has played leading roles in some of Sweden’s biggest musical productions, including "Kristina från Duvemåla" and "Chess på svenska".

The tour opens in Sundsvall on 18 November. This year’s Christmas tour will visit a total of 25 towns and cities across the country.

This year’s "En Stilla Jul" tour offers an intimate and personal concert experience alongside his long-standing colleague and musical director Bengt Magnusson on guitar and Gustaf Henriksson on keyboards.

The music, the stillness and the sense of togetherness mean an enormous amount to me, and I still feel the same anticipation and joy ahead of every Christmas tour and at being able to share that feeling with audiences across the country, says Anders Ekborg.

Together, they take the audience on an atmospheric musical journey through the best-loved Christmas songs, personal stories and musical surprises in a warm and heartfelt concert experience.
