HEATHERS – The Musical

West End Stockholm presents HEATHERS - The dark high school musical

An external guest production at Playhouse Teater

At Westerburg High, three popular girls, all named Heather, rule the school – they are beautiful, cruel and deadly. Teenage outsider Veronica Sawyer is drawn towards darkness when she becomes part of their clique. Together with the charming but psychopathic newcomer J.D., she soon starts “fixing” all the problems at school… permanently. What begins as revenge against bullies and false friends quickly escalates into a series of spectacular “suicides” and a bloody battle for power, popularity and survival.

With black humour, iconic songs and razor-sharp satire, Heathers becomes an explosive story about fitting in, love and how far you are prepared to go to become somebody in a world where everyone just wants to be on top – or kill to get there.

A wild, funny and at the same time unsettlingly perceptive musical that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first note to the final bang.
