TX2

The concert is organised by FKP Scorpio TX2 is coming to Sweden for the first time – and this is exactly the sort of debut you should experience before things get even bigger.

Behind TX2 is Evan Thomas, one of the harder-to-ignore voices in the new wave of American emo and alt-rock. The music moves between pop-punk, electronically tinged rock, rap attitude and hyper-online emo – made for an audience that has grown up with mosh pits, TikTok clips and the feeling of not quite fitting in.

It is direct, loud and unapologetically sentimental. With songs such as “I Would Hate Me Too”, “HOSTAGE (they will not erase us)” and material from the debut album “End Of Us”, TX2 occupies a chaotic corner of the modern alternative scene – where intense emotion, queer visibility and outsider energy all get equal space.

For fans, this is the first chance to see TX2 on Swedish soil. For everyone else, it is a good opportunity to understand why the project provokes such strong reactions: this is music that doesn’t try to be neutral.
