Dungen The new Dungen album "Vidrig vår" will be released on 25 September and is a candid, personal account of the breakdown of a long-term relationship.

"En gång i timmen" is out now as the first single from the album, which is among the most musically stripped-back records they have made — a song that both sounds unmistakably like Dungen and charts a new direction.

This autumn, the band will follow the album with an extensive Scandinavian tour, starting in Bergen on 22 October.

On 20 November, the band will play at Vasateatern in Stockholm — tickets are on sale now!

This year marks 25 years since Dungen released their self-titled debut album, and the new record "Vidrig vår", produced by Gustav Ejstes together with long-time collaborator Mattias Glavå, is the band's first since 2022's "En är för mycket och tusen aldrig nog".

Dungen's distinctive and dynamic blend of psychedelic rock and folk sounds has won them a large international audience despite their Swedish-language lyrics, with admirers including Jack White, Tame Impala and Fleet Foxes.

Alongside Gustav Ejstes, Dungen consists of Reine Fiske (guitar), Mattias Gustavsson (bass) and Johan Holmegard (drums).
