Ingrid Olterman – Djuphav
Join an imaginative journey of dance and music into the depths of the sea. Settle down on a clump of seaweed.
Watch a jellyfish glide past.
Movement, music and curiosity lead the way.
Djuphav is a performance filled with adventure, acoustic music and movement for children aged 4–8 and special needs preschools.
All around us, the underwater world comes to life.
Dive into the deep sea or settle down on a clump of seaweed and sway gently.
Strange and beautiful sea creatures swim past and float nearby.
Perhaps we will encounter a jellyfish, a coral or something we have never seen before.
Together, we explore what it feels like to move through the sea.
What does it sound like?
How does the body change?
What happens when we encounter something new, exciting and perhaps a little scary?
Djuphav is the third part of a triptych that began with "Öar" and "Broar", but it can of course be enjoyed entirely on its own.
Running time: 40–50 minutes.
Since 1999, Ingrid Olterman Dans has created dance performances and artistic projects for children and young people, focusing on preschools, schools, compulsory schools for pupils with intellectual disabilities, upper secondary schools and people with disabilities.
Through collaborations with musicians, set designers, visual artists and other creatives, the projects become both moving and engaging, with dance, music and movement at their heart.
Based in Stockholm, the company’s performances reach audiences throughout Sweden and internationally.
