Dalija Acin Thelander – Forza Forza!

A dance experience for little explorers and their grown-ups – filled with movement, play and unexpected encounters.

Forza Forza! by choreographer Dalija Acin Thelander is an immersive dance experience for both children and their grown-ups. Together, you step into a playful world where strange forces set everything and everyone – bodies, objects and creatures – in motion. Here, unexpected encounters, playful alliances and new ways of discovering one another emerge through dance and imagination.

The show is designed as a Relaxed Performance and welcomes children with different needs and ways of experiencing the world. Audience members can come and go as needed and experience the work at their own pace.

"Forza Forza is available in two age-adapted versions: ages 2–4 in the morning, 10.00–12.00 & ages 5–7 in the afternoon, 13.00–15.00.

Acclaimed choreographer Dalija Acin Thelander has spent many years creating performances specially adapted for children with various disabilities. Forza Forza! is no exception. The performance is based on her research in the project Towards Sensuous Ecologies, supported by Vetenskapsrådet (2022–2024), in which she has worked to develop methods for making performing arts experiences for children inclusive for all.

Dansens Hus has previously presented two of Dalija Acin Thelander's works: dAzzleMAZE (2022) and Fields of Tender (2024 and 2025). Dalija's other works include “Hjärtat inuti” (2022), “Sixth day of the moon” (2019), “The Garden of Spirited Minds” (2018), “Myriader av världar” (2017) and “Sensescapes” (2015).
