Sweden’s largest museum of cultural history.

Sponsored experiences
Nordiska Museet, or Skandinavisk-Etnografiska Museet as it was then called, was founded by Artur Hazelius back in 1873. Now Sweden’s largest museum of cultural history, it has been housed in a majestic building on Djurgården since the turn of the 20th century. Visitors can take a journey through time from the 16th century to the modern day. The exhibitions offer an insight into how life and work developed over this period.
