Linnés egna fristad!
År 1758 förvärvade Carl von Linné gården Hammarby utanför Uppsala. Gården såg han som en fristad från den ohälsosamma miljön i staden.
Hammarby är i dag en av landets bäst bevarade gårdar från 1700-talet och rymmer ett museum om familjen Linnés tid på platsen. Här finns dessutom en frodig park med samma växter som Linné en gång odlade samt ett kulturreservat i form av ett återskapat jordbrukslandskap med kålgård, humlegård och naturstigar.
