Florence Valentin

In the early 2000s, Stockholm band Florence Valentin turned the Swedish indie scene upside down.

Their debut single ”Allt dom bygger upp ska vi meja ner” caused quite a stir in the press, and when their debut EP of the same name was released shortly afterwards, it was clear that they had earned a place in Swedish music history.

With the full-length albums “Jonny Drama” (2004), “Pokerkväll i Vårby Gård” (2007) and the final release ”Spring Ricco” (2009), the band toured extensively across the country during their most active years. The band reunited in 2018, and 2020 saw the release of their long-awaited first album in eleven years – ”Det var en gång”.

Today, the band have cult status as one of the few acts to combine lyrics driven by a razor-sharp social conscience with catchy, brass-fuelled pop-punk and socially engaged, cinematic storytelling about the darker sides of society.

In autumn 2026, the band return with new music and set off on a long-awaited Swedish tour, stopping at Debaser on 27 November.
